mom’s couton – a pork pate

Cook three pounds of fresh pork shoulder with salt and pepper in water. Let boil until done. Remove from water. Grind one onion and cook in port water while grinding pork. Put ground pork in pot with onion. Add 1/2 teaspoon cloves and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Stir. Simmer until all the water is gone. Refrigerate. Spread on homemade bread.
